You know you have gotten far too old when it’s Saturday night and My Chemical Romance-I’m Not O.K comes on however you are not getting ready to go out, nor are you already wasted at switch on vodka and raspberry. Instead you are at home, in the kitchen, making a cup of tea to drink in bed whilst you watch Stand By Me.

APPLE, GINGER, CRANBERRY VOODKA COCKTAIL

1 cup cloudy apple juice

1 cup cranberry juice

50ml vodka

Ginger Ale

Ice

place apple juice, cranberry juice and vodka into the jug of an electric blender and whizz until light pink and frothy. Pour into a large serving jug, top with 1 cup ginger ale and a good handful of ice.
